Narrating the love story of your wedding day through artful, emotive, timeless photography.
Well hello there and welcome. Starting out my career in NYC as a graphic designer and art director, which had taken me from ice cream and beer to the fashion world, working on some of the top brands. All of which taught me about composition and working under pressure. After a life changing trip, I decided it was time to explore the world and have an adventure.
I tell you this as it helps me, help you capture your own story with care, creativity and emotion.
Boy meets girl, they fall in love and boys job relocates them to Hawaii. Not a bad deal at all. We met up with them over in Waimanalo Beach where the sand is white and the ocean color is always a fabulous azure. I love Waimanalo also because it has forrest and ocean within a […]
The engagement session is a great way for couple and photographer to get to know each other. I always joke that I make my couples work for their images but, in a way it’s true. When planning out the sessions, most people don’t know what to expect because they’ve never had professional photographs. Probably the […]
I can’t believe how far behind I am on posting recent shoots! I loved photographing Nicolle and Brock for their engagement session up on the North Shore. They wanted bring their boys and make an evening out of it. The thing about going up to the North Shore is that I find that people who […]
This week’s images is from a very recent wedding (well vow renewal actually). As a Hawaii wedding photographer, I’ve seen this tradition many times and it is always a very memorable experience. There are all kinds of leis and different symbolism between the […]
There are few places to get hitch on the beautiful shore of Waikiki believe it or not. One of them is Duke’s beach behind the Hilton Hawaiian Village. It doesn’t seem like the likely spot to get married with it’s parking lot, large buildings in the background and small beach but, it has one of […]
Next to your wedding location, picking an engagement photo spot is just as important. These photos are a fun way to capture the personalities of you and your honey before the wedding. It’s also a great way to work with and get to know your wedding photographer before the big day. From my experience, the […]
I love traveling to neighbor islands. I love it even more to capture the memories of a couple honeymooning. Hawai’i is a top destination for couples newly married because of our fabulous tropical weather and rich history, makes it a perfect place to let your hair down and relax. Jeannemarie Photo specializes in Hawaii weddings […]
I became a wedding photographer in Hawaii because I wanted to document and preserve memories for newly formed families. What better gift but to leave the legacy of a wedding album for your children and grandchildren to cherish? When was the last time you had a family photo taken? When was the last time you […]

It was a beautiful day filled with family, friends and sunshine when we met up with them on their wedding day at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel aka the “Pink Hotel”. They were married on the picturesque ocean front lawn with the Historic Diamond Head and south […]
