Three hundred weddings in, I've learned that the photographs couples come back to are almost never the ones they planned. They are the half-second after the vows, as you realize you're finally married, and to your best friend at that. My work is to be close enough to catch that, and quiet enough that it still happens. Here in Raleigh, I've made editorial work at The Bradford, the Hill House in Durham, and private estates across the Triangle, learning about each location and where the light falls in each.
I photograph film at every wedding for its artistry and its vintage feel: the soft grain, the gentle skin tones, the color that looks like it was pulled from a family album rather than a preset. Digital holds the clarity and the fast-moving moments; film holds the feeling. You receive both, woven together in one gallery of about a thousand images.

My wedding collections begin at $5,000 and include eight hours of coverage, a second photographer, and your full gallery of about a thousand film and digital images. Most couples invest between $7,000 and $8,000 once an heirloom album is added. Every collection is built around your day rather than chosen from a package list.
What does editorial wedding photography mean?
Editorial wedding photography is composed the way a magazine spread is: considered light, intentional framing, and portraits that feel styled without feeling stiff. In my galleries it sits alongside the moments no one planned, so you have both. My background in design and fashion shapes how I build every frame.
How soon will we see our photos?
Fifty sneak-peek images arrive within forty-eight hours of your wedding. Your full gallery of about a thousand film and digital images follows within six weeks, which leaves time for the film lab to do its work.
Will you photograph our wedding yourself?
Yes. I photograph every wedding personally and never send an associate in my place. You'll also always have a second photographer beside me, so while I'm with you, someone is with your partner, your families, and the room.
Can you photograph our whole wedding weekend?
Yes, and I'd encourage it. The welcome party and the morning-after brunch are where families relax and the most natural photographs happen. Coverage for each day is built into your collection from the start, so we can plan timing and photographers around what each event needs.
