Who would have thought that Pantone is in charge of choosing a color that defines the year? When I used to work in the fashion industry, this decision heavily dictated the color trends for designers everywhere. Nowadays, the wedding industry has definitely taken a cue.

Photographing weddings in Hawaii aren’t all about beaches and sand. Sometimes we get a destination bride who’d love to have some images taken at a different location and we’re ecstatic to oblige!

Mallory always wanted a beach wedding and what a better place to have one but on the North Shore of Oahu. Mallory and Chris Flew in from Florida and Mallory was so excited to be staying at Turtle Bay Resort where the movie “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” was filmed.

I love a girl who can brave the elements…Here in Hawai’i you just never know when the rain will move in (and usually right on out). I always come prepared with an umbrella especially when moving onto an obscure place where getting in and out isn’t always easy.
