Charleston engagement photos in historic downtown
Being a destination wedding and portrait photographer, I don’t usually meet my clients in real life until their engagement session, rehearsal/welcome dinner, or even the wedding day. I usually meet over a Zoom call and it is a great way to get to know you but nothing beats in person! So with this said, I love doing engagement sessions. We can spend a little time to create some romance and laughter and it’s a great way to get to know each other.
I met up with Taylor and Wyatt in the Historic Charleston, and immediately after greeting one another, and with bad weather looming, we headed out and about in the Historic area in downtown. I absolutely love this area for its rich history and architecture. From Rainbow Row to the Four Corners, there’s so many beautiful areas to capture romantic images.
One of my top objectives when working with a couple is to ensure they have a great time laughing, creating romance and, enjoying themselves during our photo session. My other main objective is also to get to know you better and have you more comfortable in front of the camera for your big day.
Jeanne was so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, creating romance between us! We can’t wait to have her photograph our wedding day!
I so loved spending the afternoon with T+W, we managed to miss the looming weather! Watch out for their sprint affair coming up at Boone Hall.
