Lisa + Kevin were married at the fabulous Ko’olina resort; JW Marriott which we just learned that it will closed down in January 2015 to be renovated into a Four Season’s Resort (which we’re super excited about btw). They have been together for years and finally decided to marry at Lisa’s mother’s urging. We photographed them for their engagement session up on the North Shore with their pup Max who also served as the ring bearer for the wedding. It was a day filled with family, friends and love.

Lisa carried a fabulous bouquet of blush pink and white roses detailed with this beautiful pin.

I photograph your details alone but, I always will photograph them while you’re putting them on. I feel that it is more relative  than just sitting on a dresser…

Lisa was escorted by her brother down the isle. It was a sentimental and touching moment since Lisa’s father had passed away.

L+K had a huge wedding party! it was a challenge to find a place where everyone would fit!

Cupcakes are still a big trend in leu of a full wedding cake. The topper was designed as a motif throughout the wedding theme.

Lisa + Kevin had family and friends help them assemble the wedding favors;  cake pops and shot glass detailed with their wedding logo (they were relish!).

The “smoke” machine adds a unique touch to your first dance.

L+K had swing dancers and a other entertainment as a part of their reception program. It was a fabulous idea as it kept guests entertained during dinner.

Immediately after the grand entrance in to the reception, we were asked to take the bridal part (of 20 people) out to the beach for a sunset shot. It was featured as one of our “Image of the Week” a while ago and I can tell you this was the best bridal party! everyone just fell into place and “CLICK” I go the shot!  Sometimes I even amaze myself and this is one of those moments…20 people, one light and a little luck!
