Traveling from California, Don and Julie dreamt of their wedding taking place on the fabled North Shore of Oahu. When their original location didn’t work out, their phenomenal wedding planner, Hawaii Weddings by Tori Rogers, LLC went to work to secure The Sullivan Estate. Originally built in 1962 by the founder of local company Foodland, this private estate is famous for hosting Elvis Presley and is now a wellness and fitness spa center. It offers some of the best views of the North Shore and is easily accessible from the main road.
We just LOVED every aspect of their wedding day from their signature drink of… and…. to the “perfect” matches. To all the bridesmaids dresses the color of the rainbow it was a perfect afternoon for a North Shore wedding. With the ceremony site over looking Mokulea to the reception hosted on the private lani every detail was thought out.
We love the fabulous view from the lani looking west to Kaena Point!
Julie + Don didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony so we decided that we’d surprise her dad.
Ron made his cuff links and we just thought they’re adorable!!!
For a destination wedding. J+D had a big bridal party. It was fabulous to see so many of their friends traveled for far their Hawaii wedding!
I can’t tell you how fabulous I thought the matches are! They even picked a color for the box that matched their color scheme perfectly.
O.K. I’ll admit it, we did try the signature cocktail. But the virgin version. Again picking up the color palette of the wedding was just genius!
We saw a vintage poster with Diamond Head and I just had to incorporate it into the image.
