Your Given Talents

I was thinking the other day about how lucky I am to be artistic. To have vision. To be able to create something that people can enjoy for their lifetime and leave it for others to enjoy as well. I am reminded that not everyone can or listens to their artistic side. I’m lucky because it’s being a visual artist is one of my natural talents. We all have them. YOu may be excellent at cooking a savory, yummy meal or baking a wonderful cake. Or perhaps you’re naturally good at numbers and finance is your thing. Me? Well, I lucky that I recognize this and being able to make a living doing what I do. Sure I nurture and continue to learn all that I can to keep up with certain technologies and trends because lifelong learning is imperative to being a human. 

I finally photographed my first full on wedding the other day out at the North Shore of Oahu and the day couldn’t have been more perfect! As I started out on the beautiful Hawaiian day, I was sure to remember to show my gratitude at the start and ending of my day and know that I am blessed to make use and share my natural given talents with the world.
