Christine and Jason were married at The Mauna Lani Bay Resort on the Big Island (Hawai’i). Sean and I headed out a day early to do some location scouting at the resort. The ceremony was to be held on the beach at sunset. We were set to take pre-ceremony portraits of Christine and Jason and wanted to make sure we were going to have the optimal place for photos and get back in time for the ceremony.
The Kona side that weekend was particularly voggy that weekend, meaning we we in for an amazing sunset!
Christine and Jason had chopsticks personalized with their names on them and were given to each guest.
We wanted to take advantage of daylight before the ceremony and picked out a few spots along the property. These were all the way across the property and Christine arranged for us to have our own personal chauffeured golf cart take us around the property.
It was a gorgeous sunset just what I was anticipating!
The minister was talking about a flower and love… I wish I had paid more attention to what exactly he was saying.
Sometimes I can’t decide on the best post-processing so, I’ll just go for it with a couple of versions! Love this set up!
After a beautiful ceremony on the beach, dinner was at the Canoe Restaurant.
Thank you so much Christine, Jason and your families for letting Sean and I be a part of your day. We had so much fun photographing your day.
