Styling shoot workshop for photographers
This workshop will feature a styled shoot tailored specifically for wedding portfolios, designed & curated by florist/stylist Debbie Hemingway. Do you ever get to a wedding & feel as though there is not enough time to style & photograph the day as you had envisioned? At our workshop, everything has been styled down to the last detail. Just show up & shoot. We will gather for a full day of shooting on site at a picturesque location on the island of Oahu that will include a lush tablescape, designer gowns, model, gorgeous bouquets, custom stationery set, and other wedding details
Workshop includes ~
Morning session
- we will start out at my design photography studio & shoot bridal & detail images. We will be styling a model with beautiful designer gowns, bouquet, ring, calligraphy hand made paper suite & other wedding details. for you to shoot.
- lunch in the studio.with a discussion about marketing & business. We will have QA session with photographer Jeannemarie Kavanaugh.
Afternoon session
- on location shoot ~we will be shooting at a beautiful picturesque area on Oahu. This styled set up will include a gorgeous table top with florals, model, designer gown, bouquet & beautiful details.
Investment $1200.
Payments
50% non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. Final balance is due 3 weeks prior to class date. All payments are non-refundable. If you are booking after the 3 week due period date, the balance is due in full in order to register & set the class schedule dates. All applicable Hawaii State taxes apply to the above fees. All payments are non-refundable.
Botanical wild oahu workshop does not include
Not included ~ travel airfare, accommodations while on Oahu or transportation to and from shoot locations.This event does not include formal teaching and is a day shoot geared towards those who have some experience with photography and wish to focus on the portfolio building aspect of their business. Both film and digital shooters are welcome.
Changes
We reserve the right to vary or alter any workshop program content or cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. Cancellation by us will ensure a refund of the class fee.

Debbie is known for her romantic and fine art floral design/styling in the wedding industry on the island of Oahu/Honolulu, Hawaii. She was the florist to the stars at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental hotel in Honolulu for several years. She is a true artist with a passion for creative floral design, a lover of texture, beautiful color palettes. & antiques. Her work has been featured on Style me Pretty, Magnolia Rouge, Martha Stewart Weddings, Bajan Wed, Ruffled, Burnett Boards, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, and Pacific Wedding Magazine to name a few.

Jeannemarie is a fine art, romantic, film/digital photographer based in Honolulu, Hawaii. After a 20- year career in NYC’s fashion industry, she rekindled her passion in photography.
