I love all my couples and especially Erin + Landon. They love to play tennis together and just all around hanging out. When we photographed their engagement session, I was excited because they wanted to ride bicycles (which apparently they hadn’t done so since they were kids. You can checkout their North Shore Engagement session here . I usually ask my clients to fill out a questionnaire so we can get to know you a bit better. It all came full cycle when we saw the favors were each wrapped in a burlap bag with an image of a bicycle on them. They were just too cute!
We were super excited to head up to the North Shore (on Oahu) and the Dillingham Ranch to photograph the wedding day. It’s a perfect venue to have your Hawaii Wedding as it hosts everything a bride could need. Two bridal suites, the lodge, a full commercial kitchen, a few areas for your ceremony and reception. Erin and Landon decided to marry under the tree facing the front of the property and having the reception in the back in which they had it tented incase of rain (which it didn’t!) it was a perfect day in Hawaii for November. With fabulous florals from Passion Roots, Erin’s bouquets were a mixture of blush pinks and white roses tied together with a white ribbon. Rounding out the style were the gentlemen’s boutonnieres. With the reception housing its own dessert bar decked out with cupcakes and my new favorite, macarons! It was a heart-filled day with abundance of love. We wish them many years of happiness together as a new family.
Dillingham Ranch offers many photography and video opportunities to be photographed be sure to buffer in enough time for them!
We fell in love with these bouquets designed by Hawaii Florist Spinning Web Florist. The blush pinks and hint of greens and succulents were so elegant.
Erin’s sister was there to hep her get dressed and also as her maid of honor. We loved that they kept the wedding party small one bride’s maid, one groomsman.
People just don’t know what to do in front of the camera. They can get stiff and shy. Not these two! All I had to do was say mess around a little and they just kicked it up for us!
The Palm Tree grove in the back makes for another stunning backdrop
As well as the dirt road leading up to the lodge area.
One of the most important parts of the ceremony is when a father (or whom ever you choose) gives you away.
Family formals are such an important part of your day. We just loved the grandma’s and the generations forming a new family.
I always will take a “formal” image of you and your family. If time permits, I change it up to create something different. I adore this tender moment between mother and son. All I did was ask them to hug.
Shari Dang from Couture Weddings Hawaii did an amazing job on setting up the reception carrying out E+L vision.
E+L enjoying their first dance as husband and wife.
Erin dancing with her father who told us the story of her uncle who had passed away before the wedding. He made sure to get her a wedding gift as well as a gift for their first child before he did (I had to hold back the tears).
