I can’t believe how far behind I am on posting recent shoots! I loved photographing Nicolle and Brock for their engagement session up on the North Shore. They wanted bring their boys and make an evening out of it. The thing about going up to the North Shore is that I find that people who were born and raised on Oahu never have been! My Auntie Vicky teases me that it’s my second home (which it is) I mean who wouldn’t want to escape to the country!?!? So I look at as an excuse for locals to explore the island on which they were raised on. The building in Haleiwa is now condemned and I’ll assume it’ll get demolished for something new to go up and I’m feeling lucky that I decided to photograph there.

I loved the rustic feeling of this building. Too bad the last time I passed by it it was roped off and condemned! Made me so sad to see that but lucky that I had the gall to go and photograph there!

I love my secret beach… it’s different every time I go there which, happens to be why I love it there. You’ll never know what the reef is going to look like and with some luck the sunsets are amazing! We had some pretty big waves this evening but the reef protected us from getting pounded. I always think safety first, I always let me couple know if I yell “jump” to move forward…Luckily haven’t had to 🙂
