The engagement session is a great way for couple and photographer to get to know each other. I always joke that I make my couples work for their images but, in a way it’s true. When planning out the sessions, most people don’t know what to expect because they’ve never had professional photographs. Probably the last time anyone had a professional image taken was their high school senior portrait… They they’re super nervous cause they don’t know what to expect and how to pose.

I educate my customers that this is a great time for us to practice for their big day. The engagement session also allows for couples to share a hobby or theme or they just want to have images for their home or to use on the wedding day. We headed up to my favorite spot to capture some fun images for them to use on their wedding day.
