Gratitude is an Attitude
Starting from Day 1 | July 5th 2021
Well here I am. I never ever thought I would try something like this in my life but, when COVID hit, I was hit hard and off-guard. I was freaked out about how my business and I were going to survive. I was having to completely stop everything that I knew in my daily life, traveling, photographing people, meeting up with friends etc… It was quite a dark time for me (as for many out in the world as well). I had ALWAYS been able to create something to make money. I was ALWAYS self sufficient. I never had to rely on anyone when it came to survival. Now I found myself asking family and friends for help. It was awkward, it was waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone and well, it made me feel vulnerable. A feeling that I really had no idea what that was all about because a belief came up that if you’re vulnerable, you’re weak (which obviously is not true).
Fast forward to today and the purpose of this journal. I want to see where it goes. If I help or show one person then I think it’ll a success.
Here goes nothing.
Today I am grateful for the fact that I have so many wonderful people in my life today. At this moment.
So many of you came to my aid when I thought I had no options left. I thought I was going to have to ask my family for money to get me a plane ticket home and my dreams would be crushed and I’d have to start over gain without knowing what the future held for me. Instead, my “coach” said hey, you should be pivoting create something else. My first reaction was, ” photograph people and the government said we can not interact with people! How the hell am I going to do that?!?!”
Well, I did, I I relied on our weekly Tuesday calls. I leaned on my community for support. Upgraded my thoughts and beliefs and not only did I survive, In turn, I was able to crawl out of my hole and THRIVE!
I found a way to get out of a bad living situation and go home to visit my family and friends for a few months. I worked on my craft. I worked on my beliefs, I worked on my relationships. I even created an online course on how to take better pictures with your phone!
So here is the first of my gratitude journal and again thank you for being a part of my journey through all of this. For you I am truly grateful!
What are your grateful for these days? email me and let me know. and have a wonderful day.
