Being a Hawaii wedding photographer makes it especially easy with the beautiful scenery and the equally attractive couples. While there are many opportunities for me to photograph your wedding day, one instance stands out in particular, the first look. You wedding day is your day to shine and it’s a day that you’ll look the best you ever have. It’s my job to make you shine even brighter and still tell the story of your day. The first look allows us to take the time before the ceremony to take some images.

First look portraits are important for couples looking to capture every moment of their special day. This is a great time for the couple to be photographed before being swept up in the excitement of the festivities. It’s often a relaxed experience and allows the couple and me to have a quiet moment to capture them together. I often have the bride approach the groom so she can surprise him before the big ceremony.

It is important to let your wedding photographer know any specials requests that you may have. It’s during this time I can capture the groom and his entourage, or the bride and her bridesmaids as well as family portraits. By letting them know who you want photographed, they’ll be able to plan when to take pictures and will optimize the time they have with you and your wedding party.
