When I received the inquiry to photograph Jenna + Brads Wedding on the island of Whidbey, I couldn’t wait! Located on one of the small islands about 45 minutes north of Seattle, a beautifully landscaped venue where you can have an indoor outdoor event (without the heat of the Hawaii sun 😉 ).
As all weddings are special andI love each of my couples, this one holds a place in my heart. I know Jenna’s brother Josh and when he asked me to photograph his sisters wedding, of course I obliged.
Fireseed is is located on the south side of Whidbey island on a rural area not too far from the ferry.
How awesome are Jenna’s boots? She special ordered them from London and we couldn’t stop drooling over them. Her gorgeous vintage veil was worn by her own mother on her wedding day.
Jenna’s bridesmaids were fabulous! They tended to her ever need for her!
Jenna and Brad had decided not see each other before their ceremony so they decided to have her father come in for a first look.
Jenna + Josh’s father was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer all Jenna wanted was for her father to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day. She got her wish and her beautiful wedding.
Because of the rain, we had to move the ceremony inside but that didn’t take away from all the love that was flowing through the room.
Fireseed offers fabulous areas to capture portraits of our bride and groom all within walking distance.
