What a whirlwind of a year for Hawaii Destination Weddings! So many fabulous couple and locations that took us back to Havana, Cuba and Trinidad (Cuba) to Maui and of course my home Oahu. I wish I could say that here are only 10 of my favorites but I’d be lying… There are just too many for me to choose from. Follow along on my journey.
First we start with Carla in a field in Trinidad, Cuba. We found a wonderful cab driver who also acted as our tour guide and location scouter who helped find these two locations just outside of Trinidad. We totally fell in love with these locals just across the street from each other. Amazing how just turning 180 degrees and your lighting changes.
Trinidad, Cuba. Cuba’s oldest colonial town was so pretty at down. With its cobblestone streets and architecture it made my list to go back again.

After visiting the Museo de Historia Municipal, we decided that this is a must to photograph at. After a few hours of walking around trying to discover how we can photograph here and our tenacious model/interpreter, Carla we were able to obtain permission to photograph here. We found out we were only the second photoshoot at the museum. We fell in love with location!

La Gaurdia well known for being in the movies and a couple photoshoots, the marble staircase and murals make the list.

The Josie House. Located in central Havana, well what’s not to love. This home is still occupied by its original owner who was allowed to keep it after the revolution. It hasn’t changed since.
Old Havana, Cuba. No matter where your eye goes one location is better than the next. Our musician, came strolling along (on his way home) and I asked him to play for our couple.
Old Havana, Cuba. Close to sunset… what else can I say?
North Shore, Oahu. In my honest opinion, Oahu is one of the most sublime places on earth. This location has canopy of trees making the list a must.
