Starting and finishing off at the 5 star Trump Waikiki Hotel, I just knew I’d love Karla and Dave’s wedding when she told me 1. she was wearing a pink wedding dress and two they were having the ceremony at the top of Tantalus park with the reception to follow at the fabulous Trump Waikiki Resort and Spa. Karla and Dave met  whilst living in Virginia at a co-ed softball game in which Karl’s friend had to beg her to come (Karla never had played before!!). Dave proposed after a two and a half year courtship with a stunning two carat pink cushion cut diamond from Tiffany’s.

The opportunity came up to move to Oahu and decided to have their wedding in Hawaii. They thought it to be the best place to have their nuptials. Having our good fired Jill from Easley Designs help not only with the florals and event design, Jill also coordinated. We just loved the enchanted forrest theme kept through the day!

Karla and Dave decided on a first look so they could take advantage of having family portraits taken before the ceremony.

The views from Tantalus offers amazing views of Honolulu and the iconic Diamond Head.

Back at the Trump Waikiki, we just loved the touches of pinks throughout the center pieces. They also chose to have a 1,000 cranes which is meant to bring good luck to the couple.

and for “Love Notes” each guest was asked to write their note on a piece of Janga.
