Every once in a while you get a chance to witness something amazing. I had that opportunity a few weeks ago when Anuhea Jenkins performed at Higher Ground in Wahiwa. If you haven’t heard of her, she was on iTunes Discovery download last month check out her album here.
A self-taught guitarist and song-writer born on the Hawaiian island of Maui. Anuhea’s songs weave soul, jazz, and reggae with smart, personal lyricism, I’m sure we’ll be hearing from her for a long time.
