at the Hawaii Bridal Expo…

Hyatt-Waikiki-Wedding-ceremony

With the Hawaii Bridal Expo coming up in just a few short weeks you’re probably wondering what to expect. I hear all the time “I’ve never done this before what should I do?” Surely you know we’re all trying to court you for your business and make a first impression. You’ll want to get through the expo and see as many wedding pros as you can, asking just a few questions can make it a bit easier to start conversation… (after all your photographer is one of your most important vendors of all!).

You may have seen my other post about surviving the Hawaii Bridal Expo, now have a few questions ready to ask us?

Here are some questions that you can ask (they’re geared towards Photographers but, hey, you can adapt them to almost anyone there.

Of course we’ll want to know if we’re available for your wedding date but here are some questions to get to know us a bit better.

  1. Why are you a Photographer?
(I love my job!!! I love creating images for you to remember a life time and beyond. meet me in person and I’ll elaborate).
  2. Have you photographed at my venue before?
(any good photographer can photograph anywhere but familiarity is a good thing).
  3. What other products do you offer?
(sure you think you can get a canvas printed at Costco but it’s not a professional lab).
  4.  May I see a gallery of a whole day’s coverage?
(any photographer should be able to give you access to one).  Here’s one of ours
  5.  How flexible are you? Lets say I want to change a location or add a few family images on the fly? How do you handle this?
  6. When are you available for a consultation?

Another good question is to ask for referrals. It’s always great to have vendors who’ve worked together before.

We look forward to seeing you at the Hawaii Bridal Expo this July! Get your tickets here!
